The Kumurrupuni Ceremony

To start off week three at Tiwi College we had the culture leaders/board members hold a special Kumurrupuni (Smoking Ceremony).

The Kumurrupuni Ceremony is a cleansing and healing ceremony where participants and other family members, in this case students, staff and teachers of Tiwi College, are made free from any negative feelings that participants may have.
