Jilamara Art Centre with Junior Young Men

The young men were fascinated with the old photos, beautiful art and the process of ‘cooking’ the yellow ochre into red ochre. The men also used a saw to cut the grooves into the Pwoja used to make traditional dots and lines in the beautiful Tiwi Art.
