Tiwi Friday - Jilimara Visit

A HUGE THANK YOU to Jilamara who came down to the college for Tiwi Fridays. What a wonderful morning our staff and students had spending time with family learning about Tiwi culture.

The women showed the girls how to get colors from the dye to make different colors and how to weave arm bands and belts.

The men showed the boys how to make arm bands, head bands, local canvas from the bush and they learnt face painting representing the animals.
