2024 Tiwi College Fete

It was a perfect Dry Season day for our annual Tiwi College Fete. Thank you to the Tiwi community for coming along and supporting our college, and for our sponsors for your generous donations. Most of all, thank you to our staff and students for all their hard work to make the day a success, especially our amazing House Parents.

Through the running of the Fete, the Family Group Home Life Skills Program allows our students to explore money matters such as profit and loss, entrepreneur mindset, giving to charity and goal setting toward an item for their boarding home. Each of the Family Group Home stalls made a profit which will be used to enhance the boarding homes.

Generously, Tiwi College students will be donating various amounts of their profit towards their chosen charity organisations. This year students have chosen to donate toward the Garden Point Women’s Centre, Royal Flying Doctors, Forward Aboriginal Corporation and Save the Children in Africa.

We would like to thank the information stall and sponsorship contributions on the day. It was great to have organisations share their work, be generous with their time, gifts and contributions which made the Fete a wonderful day for all attendees.
