Book Launch - Tiwi Seasons with Marius

It was wonderful to have the Indigenous Literacy Foundation out at Tiwi College to launch 'Tiwi Seasons with Marius', a children's book written and illustrated in 2022 by the Senior Young Women's class, as part of the Create Initiative. After many years writing stories together, the students were very happy to get a visit from Shelley Ware and David Lawrence, as well as Jean Marie from Hachette and all the staff at ILF.

A big thank you to Tictac and Bella who organised the launch and read the book to all our visitors, and founding Father Marius Puruntatameri for being the inspiration behind the character for this story.
